da bet7: As reported by The Daily Mirror, Daniel Sturridge won’t be leaving Liverpool this summer after Jurgen Klopp made the decision to have him stay at Anfield.
What’s the story?
da betano casino: Sturridge made just 11 starts for Klopp last season in all competitions with the German opting for a different blend in attack that the England international didn’t quite fit into.
Given his quality and desire for first team football, that meant fans came to the natural conclusion that he could end up leaving the club this summer.
However, The Mirror say that Jurgen Klopp is keen on having him as part of the squad, the reason being it’d simply cost too much to replace his talent.
With the transfer market ballooning every year, especially for English players, it’s simply becoming too costly for Liverpool to dip their toe in the market to sign a top quality squad player.
The Mirror reckon that Klopp feels any fee the Reds would receive for Sturridge would be dwarfed by what it’d cost to bring a new player of a similar standard to the club.
The paper say clubs like West Ham and Paris Saint-Germain were keen on his services but it seems as if it could be another season of predominately sitting on the bench next term for the striker.
