da aviator aposta: Sunderland have seen a bid of £12 million rejected by Wolves for striker Steven Fletcher, The Daily Mail report.
The Bantams are eager to add a new forward to their ranks after Nicklas Bendtner’s time at the Stadium of Light came to an end after the expiry of a season-long loan deal.
The Scotland international has been identified as a potential target after the Molineux club’s relegation, and the Black Cats have had a number of offers rejected by the Midlands outfit.
Wolves are holding out for £15 million, as 15 per cent of any deal will go to Burnley, who they bought Fletcher from.
As such, Martin O’Neill is now considering including Connor Wickham in part-exchange for Fletcher, which will give Wolves a decision to make.
Wickham signed for Sunderland last summer, but as yet has failed to live up to expectations and has found first-team opportunities limited.
