Per in Germany, Saudi Pro League giants Al-Ittihad offered Sane a massive €100 million (£85m/$113m) contract for four years, but the Germany international has turned it down as he is close to agreeing a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga giants are expected to reach an agreement with the player over a new contract in the next couple of weeks, which will be valid until 2028. Sane is likely to accept a pay cut from his current gross salary, as under the terms of the new deal, the winger will earn a salary of €10m per season, which could rise to €14m and €16m with bonuses.
