The Italian says that he can’t understand why the fanbase aren’t behind the side at the moment, but perhaps he needs a reality check on where he is and what the expectations are at his club.
Angus Kinnear made it very clear at the end of last season that the club weren’t planning on being in the playoffs this term, but with the Whites now just five points off seventh place, it’s not too improbable that they won’t even get a top-six spot.
Add onto that the fact that Leeds fans have had to endure season after season of late capitulations and ‘falling apart again’, and you can understand why there’s a gloomy feeling amongst fans.
Radrizzani needs to wake up and see why fans are on the team’s back, rather than looking at things through rose-tinted glasses.
