Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino continues to get his squad ready for the new season as he remains active in the transfer market. Deals for Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke are close to completion, and today’s Spurs transfer roundup includes interest in two wingers and an update in regards to that Clarke agreement.
Groeneveld on radar
According to Voetbal International, Tottenham are interested in signing Dutch youngster Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld from Club Brugge. Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais are also interested in the winger, who scored six goals in 24 games in all competitions last season.
McNeil interest
The Sun is reporting that Burnley winger Dwight McNeil was a target for the club before they moved on to Leeds winger Clarke. The former Manchester United youth team starlet, aged 19, played 21 games in the Premier League last term for the Clarets, scoring three goals and bagging five assists.
Clarke to be sent back to Leeds on loan
Jack Clarke’s deal to Tottenham is close to completion… but he won’t spend his first campaign under contract with Spurs in North London. According to the Guardian, the 18-year-old will be sent straight back to Elland Road on loan to gain more experience before making the step up.
