According to Football365, United will make an offer to recruit the 26-year-old if they qualify for next season's Champions League. Araujo signed a new deal until 2031 with Barcelona in January but reports suggest the centre-back's lack of regular game time is 'causing him concern' and if his role is not guaranteed in the starting XI, he could 'consider a change of scenery'. Araujo has made 22 appearances for Barcelona this season, a campaign that was blighted by a hamstring injury in the first few months. But even when he has been back fit, he has sometimes been left on the bench behind Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez.
