According to reports from Zahavi has been in talks to arrange a potential move for Neymar to either Barcelona or Bayern during the upcoming summer transfer window. The agent, who played a key role in Neymar’s record-breaking transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 and his subsequent move to Al-Hilal, is now working on another high-profile transfer for the Brazilian forward.

Zahavi shares a close relationship with Barca president Joan Laporta, and with the Catalan club in search of a left-sided attacker, Neymar is reportedly open to signing a one-year contract with the club. Financial constraints remain a major concern for Barcelona, but Neymar is said to be willing to accept a reasonable salary to facilitate a potential return to Spain.
Despite these discussions, the Catalan side have not actively pursued a deal for their former star. Their summer transfer plans largely depend on player sales, but with most of the squad reluctant to leave, their ability to make significant signings remains uncertain. Additionally, reports indicate that sporting director Deco has dismissed the idea of Neymar rejoining the team, citing concerns over how the forward would fit into Hansi Flick’s tactical setup.
BAYERN EMERGE AS AN OPTION
Zahavi is also exploring the possibility of bringing Neymar to Bayern. However, the Bundesliga giants are not currently planning a major squad overhaul in 2025, with their primary transfer focus being on Bayer Leverkusen star Florian Wirtz in 2026. Neymar, on his part, is not interested in moving to the Premier League. This makes Bayern a potentially attractive destination, but as of now, the German club have not shown any real interest in signing him.

Since rejoining Santos in January, Neymar has impressed with three goals and three assists in seven appearances. His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Brazil national team coach Dorival Junior recalling him to the Selecao squad for the first time since he suffered a serious knee injury against Uruguay in October 2023. The forward remains focused on helping Santos succeed, with the team set to face Corinthians in the semi-finals of the Paulista Championship on March 9. His return to top form will be crucial if he hopes to convince European clubs to make a move for him in the summer.
